Do you have vegan or dairy free menus?


Unfortunately not, we’re not able to cater for vegan or dairy free diets (though we can remove/substitute any dairy that's listed on the menu with dairy-free alternatives where possible. However, there will be trace amounts of dairy in the meal and we do use dairy in most of our purees, sauces etc.)




Do you have a Halal option?


Unfortunately we don’t have any halal meat.




Can I get a VAT receipt?


Yes, we’re happy to provide VAT receipts however, cold food deliveries (which is what our WHP at HOME deliveries fall under) is 0% VAT rated so there is no VAT to claim back on.




Is it possible to make an alcohol free restaurant booking?


Yes, it is. We offer the menu without wine pairing with a £25 discount per person. For one alcohol free menu, use the discount code whpnoalc1 on the booking page below the 'Time Remaining' counter. For two alcohol free menus, use the discount code whpnoalc2 Please let us know if you require a different quantity and we'll send over the correct coupon code to you. (Don't add the Optional Service Charge to your order - it stops the discount working correctly). We provide fruit juice options with the alcohol free menu.




What is your restaurant dining cancellation policy?


Under 'normal' (non Covid related) circumstances, our tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to an alternative date with at least two weeks notice If you’re not able to transfer your booking, we can put your tickets on sale and refund you if we're able to sell your places. If your booking's affected by Covid restrictions, we'll issue you vouchers to cover your booking which are valid for a minimum of 1 year and are redeemable against any of our dining in evenings or WHP at HOME experiences. If you're still not able to use these vouchers then we'll refund your booking.




Is there a minimum age for the restaurant dining?


Yes, there is. The minimum age we cater for is 13 years and over (13-17 year olds will receive the alcohol free menu). Regretably we do not have facilities for children or babies.

What is your WHP at Home Cancellation Policy?


Home deliveries can be transferred/cancelled with a minumum of 48 hours notice.




Can I collect my WHP at Home order directly?


Yes, you're welcome to collect your WHP at HOME orders direct from our restaurant (3 Mare Street, E8 4RP). The team will have orders ready to be collected between 4pm - 5pm Wednesday - Sunday. To book, please follow the normal online booking process for WHP at HOME and select any time slot on the day that you'd like to collect. Please add a note in the 'Dietary Requirements' field on the booking form that you're collecting with your estimated arrival time or email us once you have made your booking and we’ll add this to your notes. As you won't need to cover the usual delivery costs, we'll issue you a £10 refund on your order.




What are the WHP at Home delivery times?


We can't guarantee a time slot unfortunately, all our deliveries are made between 4.30pm - 7.00pm. We get a schedule from Pedal Me (our courier) on the morning of the deliveries and we'll send you an email and or text message at the beginning of the day with your estimated delivery time (the couriers leave the restaurant at 4.30pm and work outwards so your delivery time roughly depends on how far you are from us (3 Mare Street, E8 4RP).




Where do you deliver to?


We deliver to zones 1-3 in London and this delivery cost is included in the price. If you’re outside zone 3, we can organise a courier to deliver to you (please email enquiries@thewaterhouseproject.com for a quote - the delivery charge would be invoiced to you separately) or you're very welcome to collect your order directly from the restaurant (3 Mare Street, E8 4RP) between 4pm - 5pm Wednesday - Sunday.




How does the WHP at HOME food arrive- is it cooked?


The food will all be pre-prepared and packed in separate boxes. It will arrive chilled and will either need plating (there will be a plating instructions ‘manual’) or reheating in a pan / oven to finish, with instructions on how to do this also. The boxes will be labeled course 1 - 6 with corresponding wine pairings (also labelled 1 - 6) making it fairly straightforward to go through and prepare the courses.

What is the expiry date of my WHP at HOME?


Your order is best consumed on the day of delivery but it will store well in the fridge for up to 48 hours.




How much wine is included in the WHP at HOME kits?


The wine measures are 100ml per serving, per person so there will be 6 x 100ml servings per person plus an aperitif to start.
