Our ceramics are hand made by Jo Marland, a London based potter.
Each of Jo's pots are made using traditional studio pottery techniques; thrown and trimmed on the wheel. Once formed the pots are dried slowly, fired to 1000'C, hand-dipped into glazes and fired again, this time to 1260'C. This intricate process means that each pot is subject to small variations in form and finish that make them unique in essence. This range is made from a selection of stoneware clays and a few simple glazes that react together in different ways to create a variety of muted finishes. Dishwasher safe, apart from teapots with bamboo handles.
Small orders take approximately 3-4 weeks, larger orders 6-8 weeks.
