1. Triple Zero NV, Domaine La Taille aux Loups

Region: Montlouis, Loire, France

Grapes: 100% Chenin Blanc

Why? Super crisp zero-dosage sparkling from Loire legend Jacky Blot.

It’s like: Salt, white peach & honey 

Pairs with: Popcorn, oysters, turbot


2. Quintaluna 2018, Ossian

Region: Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y Leon (Rueda), Spain

Grapes: 100% Verdejo

Why? Spanish white can be epic, & Ossian are pioneers of oak-aged Verdejo. 

It’s like: Lemon curd, red apple & vanilla 

Pairs with: Cheese, scallops, chicken


3. "Les Chasseignes" Sancerre 2018, Domaine Riffault  

Region: Sancerre, Loire, France

Grapes: 100% Sauvignon Blanc

Why? Nothing tops the vibrant freshness of Loire Sauvignon.

It’s like: Lemon zest, grass & flint

Pairs with: Spicy stuff, Crottin (goats cheese), herbs


4. Morgon 2018, Marcel Lapierre

Region: Morgon, Beaujolais, France

Grapes: 100% Gamay Noir

Why? Leaders in the natural wine movement, converts all sceptics.

It’s like: Violets, strawberry & earth

Pairs with: Charcuterie, grilled aubergine, tuna


5. St. Joseph 2016, Pierre Gaillard 

Region: St. Joseph, Northern Rhone, France

Grapes: 100% Syrah

Why? Quintessential Rhone Syrah; bright, fresh & a touch wild.

It’s like: Blackberry, soy & black pepper

Pairs with: Beef, tomato sauces, sausage


6. The Zumma Pinot Noir 2017, Crittenden Estate 

Region: Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, Australia

Grapes: 100% Pinot Noir

Why? New wave Aussie Pinot, perfect mix of ripeness & elegance.

It’s like: Ripe strawberries, thyme & sweet spice

Pairs with: Lamb, duck, roast veg
